You download and then unzip the files into their respective folder. Then copy the contents of each respective folder into the folder where the game currently resides

I'm playing 0.30.1G and it was an initial install. During my early fights with the rats, I was able to use mana and health potions without error. Just when I reached about level 3 or 4, it suddenly started happening and without any errors being displayed or a request to 'ignore'.

So to understand the fix...
(1) from the appdata folder, I'm to delete just the persistant data file
(2) from the main game's folder, I'm to delete the contents of the save folder (what about the sync folder within the save folder?)

As an interesting note... during battles, I can use the 'cure poison' and the 'increase health and mana' (the green and pink vials). Just can't use the red or blue vials that increase health or mana respectively.

Very interesting game and I'm enjoying working my way through all the events to this point. However, I've run into a situation that has me confused during battles... the health and mana potions do not replenish my health or mana but removes them from my inventory. I'm not exactly sure as to what level I was at when it started happening. If I use a health or mana potion pre-battle from where you can set up spells and such, it works fine. But during battles, when I 'Use Item', my health or mana doesn't increase but the number of potions goes down. How might I fix this (if it is something that I can fix)? Thank you.

I'm wondering if the saves from Chapter 8 Part 2 will be able to be imported into the new season or does the new season just begin new? I'm really enjoying this work and am looking forward to watching how this progresses. Thank you and keep up the great work.

@RangerMech - I found a separate source that answers our question I believe...

That source states: Note: Old saves are not supported so you will have to create a new game.

Therefore, with running v0.10.1, we need to start the game from the beginning. Not sure about you, but I'm looking forward to a new playthrough so I can catch up on the game again.

I, too, have reached the same impasse. I can't seem to find the interface to call Zoe. I did find the 2 images hidden on the screen before getting stuck as well.

MrKuchi - any suggestions as to how to move forward? I had played through v0.5.1 and now trying to move forward with v0.10.

Yes, I had copied the files over the previous version that I had and received that error. I have now tried starting it from it's own folder and the game has started without the error. Thank you for the reply.

I'm enjoying the game and the plot. However, I just downloaded the latest release and when I attempt to start the game, I get the following error (this is the error.txt file contents the game created - playing this on a pc and downloaded the 16.1-pc file):
